Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Build Automation Engineer to support the development and maintenance of automated build and deployment pipelines. In this role, you will work closely with development and DevOps teams to streamline software delivery processes and improve build reliability. This position is ideal for individuals interested in automation, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing and maintaining build automation pipelines
Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
Monitor build systems and troubleshoot build failures
Collaborate with development teams to improve build efficiency
Maintain build scripts and automation tools
Ensure version control and configuration management best practices
Document build processes and system configurations
Support release management and deployment activities
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
Ensure compliance with development and security standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in software development, DevOps, or build automation
Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
Understanding of version control systems such as Git
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with build tools like Maven, Gradle, or Ant
Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts
Interest in DevOps practices and automation frameworks
