Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Performance Engineer to join our partner organization. In this role, you will support performance testing, analysis, and optimization of software applications to ensure scalability, speed, and reliability. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about software quality, system performance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing and executing performance, load, and stress tests
Monitor application performance and identify bottlenecks
Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to development teams
Collaborate with developers to optimize application performance
Develop and maintain performance testing scripts and tools
Track performance metrics and generate detailed reports
Support troubleshooting of performance-related issues
Ensure applications meet performance and scalability requirements
Stay updated with best practices in performance engineering
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in software testing, performance engineering, or development
Basic understanding of performance testing concepts and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python)
Familiarity with web technologies and APIs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with performance monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics)
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Knowledge of databases and query optimization
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
