Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Clinical Documentation Coordinator to support clinical documentation and data accuracy. In this role, you will ensure that patient records are complete, accurate, and compliant with healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities

Review and maintain clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness
Ensure compliance with healthcare documentation standards
Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve documentation quality
Identify gaps or discrepancies in patient records
Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR)
Support clinical audits and documentation reviews
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies
Assist in reporting and documentation improvement initiatives
Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information
Support overall healthcare documentation processes

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field
1–3 years of experience in clinical documentation or healthcare roles
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and practices
Basic understanding of EHR systems
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in hospital or clinical settings
Familiarity with medical coding and documentation improvement
Knowledge of healthcare compliance (HIPAA)
Experience with documentation audits
Certification in clinical documentation (preferred)
