Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Clinical Lab Specimen Auditor to review and validate laboratory specimen processes. In this role, you will ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality in specimen handling and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Audit laboratory specimen handling and documentation
Verify sample labeling, tracking, and processing accuracy
Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
Maintain audit records and compliance reports
Collaborate with lab technicians and healthcare teams
Ensure compliance with laboratory and safety standards
Support quality assurance and improvement initiatives
Track audit metrics and generate reports
Ensure confidentiality of patient information
Improve specimen audit workflows
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field
1–3 years of experience in laboratory operations, auditing, or healthcare support roles
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Basic understanding of specimen handling and lab processes
Good communication and coordination abilities
Ability to work in laboratory environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in clinical or diagnostic laboratories
Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS)
Knowledge of specimen handling protocols
Understanding of healthcare and lab compliance standards
Strong data tracking and reporting skills
