Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Oncology Patient Services Coordinator to support patients undergoing cancer treatment. In this role, you will coordinate services, manage appointments, and ensure a smooth patient care experience.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate oncology patient services and appointments
Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and healthcare teams
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Assist in treatment planning and follow-up coordination
Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and standards
Provide support and guidance to patients and families
Track patient progress and service delivery
Handle insurance verification and authorization processes
Manage communication across departments
Improve patient service workflows

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field
1–3 years of experience in oncology support, patient services, or healthcare coordination roles
Basic understanding of cancer care and treatment processes
Strong organizational and coordination skills
Good communication and patient support abilities
Ability to work in emotionally sensitive environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in oncology clinics or cancer care centers
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Knowledge of chemotherapy and radiation therapy processes
Understanding of insurance and authorization workflows
