Job Title: Oncology Research Nurse (RN)

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Oncology Research Nurse (RN) to join our partner organization. In this role, you will support clinical trials and research initiatives focused on cancer treatment and patient care. You will work closely with physicians, researchers, and patients to ensure clinical studies are conducted safely, ethically, and in compliance with regulatory standards. This position is ideal for nurses passionate about oncology, research, and improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage oncology clinical trials in accordance with study protocols
Screen, recruit, and enroll eligible patients into research studies
Monitor patient progress and document clinical data accurately
Administer investigational treatments and medications as required
Educate patients and families about clinical trials, procedures, and potential risks
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and study guidelines
Collaborate with physicians, research teams, and sponsors
Maintain detailed and accurate research records and reports
Identify and report adverse events and protocol deviations
Support continuous improvement in clinical research processes
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
1–3 years of clinical nursing experience (oncology or research preferred)
Basic understanding of clinical research and trial processes
Strong patient care, assessment, and documentation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in oncology nursing or clinical research
Certification such as Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)
Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical trial systems
Knowledge of chemotherapy administration and cancer treatment protocols
Strong organizational and time management skills
