Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Care Unit Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care for infants and children in a clinical setting. In this role, you will monitor patient health, administer treatments, and support families through the care process.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in care units
Monitor vital signs and patient conditions
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Assist in pediatric procedures and care plans
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with pediatricians and healthcare teams
Educate families on patient care and recovery
Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and standards
Respond to changes in patient condition promptly
Maintain a safe and child-friendly care environment
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
1–3 years of experience in pediatric or clinical nursing roles
Valid RN license to practice in Florida
Strong knowledge of pediatric care practices
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work in specialized care units
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in pediatric care units or hospital settings
Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong patient monitoring and coordination skills
