Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Neonatal Care Technician to support the care of newborn infants, including those in critical condition. In this role, you will assist nurses and physicians in delivering high-quality care in a neonatal or NICU setting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the care and monitoring of newborn infants, including premature or critically ill babies
Support NICU nurses and physicians with daily patient care activities
Monitor vital signs and report any changes in infant condition
Prepare and maintain neonatal equipment and supplies
Assist with feeding, bathing, and general infant care
Maintain accurate documentation of patient information
Ensure a clean, safe, and sterile environment
Support families by providing guidance and emotional reassurance
Follow strict infection control and safety protocols
Assist during medical procedures as needed
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in healthcare preferred)
1–3 years of experience in neonatal care, NICU, or pediatric healthcare
Basic knowledge of neonatal care practices and safety standards
Strong attention to detail and observational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Certification as a Neonatal Care Technician or similar credential
Experience in NICU or hospital-based neonatal units
Familiarity with medical equipment used in neonatal care
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Knowledge of patient care documentation systems
