Job Title: Rehabilitation Nurse (RN)

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Rehabilitation Nurse (RN) to join our partner organization. In this role, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic illnesses. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery, mobility, and independence. This position is ideal for nurses passionate about rehabilitation, patient progress, and long-term care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing rehabilitation treatment
Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Assist patients with mobility, daily activities, and therapeutic exercises
Monitor patient progress and document outcomes accurately
Educate patients and families on recovery processes and self-care techniques
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and healthcare teams
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and safety protocols
Respond to patient needs and emergencies promptly
Support continuous improvement in patient care and rehabilitation practices
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
1–3 years of clinical nursing experience (rehabilitation or medical-surgical preferred)
Strong patient care, assessment, and documentation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to patient-centered care and recovery
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in rehabilitation nursing or post-acute care settings
Certification such as Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN)
Familiarity with physical and occupational therapy processes
Knowledge of chronic illness management and recovery planning
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Strong organizational and time management skills
