Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our partner organization. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth registration and intake process while maintaining high standards of customer service and accuracy. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about healthcare administration and patient interaction.

Key Responsibilities
Greet patients and assist with registration and check-in processes
Collect and verify patient demographics, insurance information, and medical records
Schedule appointments and coordinate patient services
Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations
Maintain accurate data entry in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Communicate with patients regarding procedures, billing, and documentation
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and patient privacy standards (HIPAA)
Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
1–3 years of experience in healthcare administration, patient access, or customer service
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and data entry abilities
Proficiency in computer systems and office applications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with EHR/EMR systems
Familiarity with insurance verification and billing procedures
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance standards
Ability to work in fast-paced healthcare environments
