Job Title: Dialysis Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Dialysis Nurse (RN) to join our partner organization. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment, monitor patient health, and ensure safe and effective renal therapy. This position is ideal for registered nurses passionate about nephrology and chronic kidney care.

Key Responsibilities
Administer hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis treatments under physician orders
Monitor patients’ vital signs, lab results, and overall health during dialysis sessions
Assess and document patient conditions, responses to treatment, and any complications
Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, lifestyle management, and medication
Collaborate with nephrologists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Maintain accurate patient records and comply with safety and regulatory standards
Ensure proper operation, sterilization, and maintenance of dialysis equipment
Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
1–3 years of nursing experience (preferably in dialysis, nephrology, or critical care)
Knowledge of dialysis procedures, equipment, and patient monitoring
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Nephrology Nursing (CNN) or Dialysis Nursing (CDN)
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems
Familiarity with patient education and counseling in renal care
Ability to manage multiple patients and complex cases efficiently
