Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Patch Management Analyst to join our partner organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and deploying software patches and updates across enterprise systems to ensure security, compliance, and optimal system performance. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about cybersecurity, system administration, and IT operations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and deploy patches, updates, and hotfixes across servers, endpoints, and applications
Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and ensure timely remediation
Maintain patch management schedules and compliance reports
Collaborate with IT and security teams to prioritize critical updates
Test patches in controlled environments before deployment
Troubleshoot issues related to patch deployment and system performance
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards
Maintain accurate documentation of patching activities and system changes
Automate patching processes where possible to improve efficiency
Required Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
1–3 years of experience in patch management, system administration, or IT operations
Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and patching tools (e.g., WSUS, SCCM)
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and vulnerability management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise patch management tools and automation platforms
Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys)
Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
Understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft certifications)
