Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Backend Services Engineer to support backend development and service architecture. In this role, you will assist in building APIs, managing services, and ensuring efficient server-side performance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs
Assist in designing scalable service architectures
Troubleshoot backend and application issues
Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
Support database integration and data handling
Monitor system performance and optimize services
Maintain technical documentation and workflows
Assist in deployment and service updates
Ensure compliance with coding and security standards

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in backend development or software engineering roles
Strong knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, or Node.js)
Basic understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL)
Familiarity with APIs and microservices concepts
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with frameworks (Spring Boot, Django, Express)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to microservices architecture
