Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Network Flow Analyst to monitor and analyze network flow data. In this role, you will identify traffic patterns, detect anomalies, and help improve network performance and security.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze network flow data (NetFlow, sFlow, IPFIX)
Monitor network traffic patterns and bandwidth usage
Identify anomalies and potential security threats
Collaborate with network and security teams
Maintain documentation of analysis processes
Support troubleshooting of network performance issues
Ensure compliance with IT and security standards
Track metrics and generate performance reports
Assist in capacity planning and optimization
Improve network monitoring and analysis workflows

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
1–3 years of experience in network monitoring, traffic analysis, or IT roles
Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Familiarity with network flow technologies and monitoring tools
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, or NetFlow analyzers
Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure)
Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash)
Understanding of network security and traffic analysis
Relevant certifications such as CCNA or Network+
