Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Security Monitoring Analyst to monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing security alerts, maintaining system integrity, and ensuring continuous protection of organizational infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools
Investigate and respond to potential security incidents
Analyze logs from network devices, servers, and applications
Identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions
Escalate critical incidents to appropriate teams
Maintain documentation of incidents and response activities
Support threat detection and incident response processes
Collaborate with IT and security teams to improve monitoring systems
Ensure compliance with security policies and standards
Participate in continuous improvement of security operations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or IT security monitoring
Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
Knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems
Understanding of security frameworks and best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and incident reporting abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash)
Knowledge of threat intelligence and vulnerability management
Experience in incident response and forensic analysis
