Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cloud Reliability Engineer to support the reliability, availability, and performance of cloud-based systems. In this role, you will work with engineering and DevOps teams to monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and improve system stability. This position is ideal for individuals interested in cloud computing, site reliability engineering (SRE), and infrastructure automation.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor cloud infrastructure and system performance
Identify and troubleshoot reliability and performance issues
Support incident response and root cause analysis
Assist in implementing automation for system reliability
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams
Maintain system health dashboards and monitoring tools
Support deployment and infrastructure updates
Ensure adherence to security and operational best practices
Document processes, incidents, and solutions
Contribute to continuous improvement of system reliability
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or system administration
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems
Understanding of monitoring tools and logging systems
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
Knowledge of site reliability engineering (SRE) principles
Interest in system performance optimization and scalability
