Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technical IT Data Center Technician to support data center infrastructure and operations. In this role, you will manage hardware installations, monitor systems, and ensure uptime and performance of critical IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain data center hardware (servers, racks, cables)
Monitor system performance and environmental conditions
Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues
Perform routine maintenance and system checks
Collaborate with IT and network teams
Maintain documentation of data center activities
Ensure compliance with IT and safety standards
Support backup and disaster recovery processes
Manage inventory of data center equipment
Assist in improving data center efficiency

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in data center operations, IT support, or infrastructure roles
Basic understanding of server hardware and networking
Familiarity with operating systems (Linux, Windows)
Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in data center environments
Familiarity with virtualization technologies
Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure
Understanding of network cabling and rack management
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+
