Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Network Configuration Support Engineer to assist in configuring and maintaining network systems. In this role, you will support network setup, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable connectivity across systems.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in configuring network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
Support network setup and deployment activities
Troubleshoot network issues and connectivity problems
Monitor network performance and ensure stability
Collaborate with network and IT teams
Maintain documentation of network configurations
Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards
Assist in network upgrades and maintenance tasks
Track network performance metrics and logs
Support continuous improvement of network infrastructure

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in networking, IT support, or infrastructure roles
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Familiarity with network devices and configurations
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with networking tools and equipment (Cisco, Juniper)
Familiarity with network monitoring tools
Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash)
Understanding of network security concepts
Relevant certifications such as CCNA or Network+
