Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Application Monitoring Engineer to support the monitoring and performance of business-critical applications. In this role, you will track system health, identify issues, and assist in maintaining optimal application performance. This position is ideal for individuals interested in application support, monitoring tools, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor application performance and system health using monitoring tools
Identify and troubleshoot application issues and performance bottlenecks
Respond to alerts and support incident resolution
Collaborate with development and IT teams to resolve issues
Maintain monitoring dashboards and reporting systems
Document incidents, resolutions, and system performance metrics
Support deployment monitoring and post-release validation
Assist in improving monitoring processes and automation
Ensure adherence to operational and security standards
Track application availability and uptime metrics
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in application support, monitoring, or IT operations
Basic knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, New Relic)
Familiarity with operating systems (Linux/Unix, Windows)
Understanding of application architecture and performance concepts
Knowledge of scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with logging and observability tools
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Knowledge of incident management processes
Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
