Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Application Performance Monitoring Engineer to support monitoring and optimization of application performance. In this role, you will analyze metrics, track system health, and ensure smooth application operations.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor application performance and system health
Analyze logs, metrics, and alerts to identify issues
Respond to incidents and escalate when necessary
Collaborate with development and operations teams
Maintain documentation of monitoring processes
Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards
Support monitoring tools and configurations
Track performance metrics and generate reports
Assist in performance tuning and optimization
Improve monitoring workflows and efficiency

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in monitoring, IT support, or software operations roles
Basic understanding of application monitoring tools and logs
Familiarity with operating systems and applications
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamics
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash)
Understanding of incident management processes
Exposure to DevOps practices
