Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Surgical Instrument Technician to manage and prepare surgical instruments for procedures. In this role, you will ensure proper sterilization, organization, and availability of instruments for surgical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
Ensure proper handling and storage of instruments
Assist in setting up operating rooms for procedures
Maintain accurate records of instrument usage and sterilization
Collaborate with surgical and healthcare teams
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
Inspect instruments for damage or malfunction
Maintain cleanliness and organization of sterile areas
Support inventory management of surgical tools
Assist in improving sterilization and workflow processes

Required Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Surgical Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in surgical support or sterilization roles
Basic knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilization techniques
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in clinical environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in operating rooms or sterile processing departments
Certification such as CST or CRCST (preferred)
Familiarity with sterilization equipment and procedures
Knowledge of infection control protocols
Understanding of healthcare compliance standards
