Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Incident Response Analyst to join our partner organization. In this role, you will monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents, ensuring the protection of enterprise systems and data. This position is ideal for professionals interested in cybersecurity, threat analysis, and IT risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor security systems and alerts to detect potential incidents
Investigate and analyze security events, identifying root causes
Respond to IT incidents, coordinating remediation and recovery actions
Collaborate with IT and security teams to mitigate threats
Document incidents, investigation steps, and resolution outcomes
Participate in vulnerability assessments and risk analysis
Assist in developing incident response plans and protocols
Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
1–3 years of experience in IT security, incident response, or SOC operations
Knowledge of security monitoring tools, SIEM, and endpoint protection
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to incidents
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS
Familiarity with cloud security and network monitoring
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP
Exposure to scripting or automation for security tasks
