Overview:
An exciting opportunity is open for a Help Desk Associate to support day-to-day IT operations. Skill Gigs is hiring for one of its clients, looking for someone who can handle user queries, resolve technical issues, and ensure smooth system functionality.
Core Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for technical support requests
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues
Assist users via calls, emails, or ticketing systems
Install and configure systems, applications, and peripherals
Maintain logs of issues, solutions, and system updates
Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level IT teams
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
1–2 years of experience in help desk or IT support roles
Basic understanding of operating systems and networking
Strong communication and customer-handling skills
Ability to manage multiple requests efficiently
