Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse (RN) to provide critical care for newborns in a NICU setting. In this role, you will monitor infant health, administer treatments, and support families during intensive care situations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to neonatal intensive care patients
Monitor vital signs and infant health conditions
Administer medications and treatments
Assist in NICU procedures and emergency care
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with neonatologists and healthcare teams
Educate families on infant care and recovery
Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and standards
Respond promptly to changes in infant condition
Maintain a safe and sterile care environment

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
1–3 years of experience in NICU or neonatal nursing roles
Valid RN license to practice in Iowa
Strong knowledge of neonatal intensive care practices
Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
Ability to work in high-acuity environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in NICU settings
Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NRP
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong critical thinking and patient monitoring skills
Commitment to patient-centered neonatal care
