Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Claims Processing Coordinator to support claims processing and billing operations. In this role, you will handle claim submissions, verify data accuracy, and ensure timely processing of healthcare claims.
Key Responsibilities
Process and review medical claims for accuracy and completeness
Verify patient and insurance information
Submit claims to insurance providers
Identify and resolve claim discrepancies
Maintain accurate records of claims and transactions
Collaborate with billing and insurance teams
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies
Track claim status and follow up on pending claims
Assist in resolving denied or rejected claims
Support continuous improvement of claims processing workflows
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field
1–3 years of experience in medical claims processing or billing roles
Strong knowledge of healthcare billing and claims procedures
Basic understanding of insurance verification processes
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with medical billing software and EHR systems
Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding standards
Familiarity with payer policies and claims adjudication
Understanding of healthcare compliance regulations
Certification in medical billing or coding (preferred)
