Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Medical Claims Verification Specialist to support claims validation and insurance verification processes. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing medical claims, ensuring accuracy, and resolving discrepancies to support efficient billing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Review and verify medical claims for accuracy and completeness
Validate patient insurance information and coverage details
Identify and resolve discrepancies in claims data
Ensure compliance with billing regulations and payer requirements
Coordinate with insurance providers for claim verification
Maintain accurate documentation of claims processing activities
Assist in resolving denied or rejected claims
Collaborate with billing and healthcare teams
Support timely and accurate claims submission processes
Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with healthcare standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field
1–3 years of experience in medical claims, billing, or verification roles
Strong understanding of insurance verification and claims processing
Knowledge of healthcare billing procedures and compliance
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with medical billing software and EHR systems
Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding standards
Familiarity with payer policies and claim adjudication
Understanding of healthcare compliance regulations
Certification in medical billing or coding (preferred)
