Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Blood Collection Processing Technician to handle and process blood samples. In this role, you will ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, and preparation for laboratory analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Process and prepare blood samples for laboratory testing
Ensure proper labeling and documentation of specimens
Maintain cleanliness and organization of lab areas
Assist in blood collection and handling procedures
Collaborate with lab technicians and healthcare teams
Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards
Track specimen records and processing data
Monitor storage and transport conditions of samples
Support laboratory workflow and operations
Improve specimen processing efficiency

Required Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or related field
0–2 years of experience in laboratory or healthcare support roles
Basic knowledge of specimen handling and blood processing
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in clinical or lab environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in blood banks or diagnostic laboratories
Certification in phlebotomy or lab technology (preferred)
Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures
Knowledge of infection control protocols
Understanding of specimen storage and transport standards
