Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Support Engineer to support data systems and operational processes. In this role, you will assist in maintaining data pipelines, troubleshooting data issues, and ensuring smooth data flow across systems.

Key Responsibilities

Support data systems and ensure smooth data operations
Troubleshoot data-related issues and resolve discrepancies
Assist in maintaining databases and data pipelines
Monitor data performance and system health
Collaborate with data and engineering teams
Maintain documentation of data processes and workflows
Support data validation and quality checks
Assist in automation of data-related tasks
Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies
Generate reports and support data analysis activities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
0–2 years of experience in data support, data engineering, or IT roles
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
Basic understanding of databases and SQL
Familiarity with data processing tools and concepts
Good problem-solving and organizational skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with data pipelines and ETL processes
Familiarity with Python or scripting languages
Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
Exposure to cloud-based data platforms
Understanding of data quality and governance practices
