Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Systems Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical support and ensure smooth IT operations. This role involves troubleshooting system issues, supporting users, and maintaining IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications
Troubleshoot system, network, and application problems
Monitor system performance and ensure uptime and reliability
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
Assist with system upgrades, patches, and backups
Maintain IT documentation, procedures, and asset inventory
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues
Support cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with policies
Respond to helpdesk tickets and provide timely resolutions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
0–3 years of experience in IT support or system administration
Knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Active Directory and Office 365
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar
Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
