Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Monitoring Support Specialist to join our partner organization. In this role, you will monitor IT systems, respond to alerts, and ensure the smooth operation of enterprise applications and infrastructure. This position is ideal for professionals interested in IT operations, system monitoring, and incident management.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor IT systems, applications, and network performance using monitoring tools
Respond to system alerts and troubleshoot issues promptly
Collaborate with IT teams to resolve incidents and minimize downtime
Maintain documentation for monitoring procedures, incidents, and resolutions
Participate in root cause analysis and reporting for recurring issues
Support system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes
Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices
Communicate effectively with IT teams and end-users regarding incidents
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
1–3 years of experience in IT monitoring, system support, or helpdesk operations
Familiarity with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and IT infrastructure
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to incidents
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ITIL processes or IT service management frameworks
Knowledge of network, server, and application monitoring techniques
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and monitoring services
Familiarity with scripting or automation for IT operations
