Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Deployment Specialist to support the deployment, release, and configuration of software applications. In this role, you will work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth and efficient software rollouts. This position is ideal for individuals interested in release management, deployment automation, and software operations.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in deploying software applications across environments
Support release management and version control processes
Monitor deployments and troubleshoot deployment issues
Collaborate with development and QA teams for smooth releases
Maintain deployment scripts and configuration files
Ensure proper documentation of deployment processes
Support rollback procedures and incident resolution
Assist in automation of deployment workflows
Ensure compliance with security and operational standards
Track deployment metrics and performance
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in software deployment, DevOps, or IT operations
Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
Knowledge of configuration management tools
Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts
Interest in automation and DevOps practices
