Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to join our partner healthcare facility in Lubbock, Texas. The ideal candidate will provide clinical and administrative support, assisting healthcare providers and ensuring smooth patient care operations.

Key Responsibilities
Take and record patient vital signs and medical histories
Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures
Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider
Prepare and maintain patient records accurately
Schedule patient appointments and manage clinical documentation
Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; certification or associate degree preferred
1–2 years of experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting
Knowledge of basic clinical procedures and patient care practices
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
Experience in outpatient or primary care settings
Knowledge of medical terminology and billing procedures
