Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapy Rehab Assistant to support physical therapists in delivering rehabilitation services. In this role, you will assist patients with exercises, monitor progress, and help ensure effective recovery plans. This position is ideal for individuals interested in physical therapy, rehabilitation, and patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
Monitor patient progress and report changes to therapists
Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas
Maintain cleanliness and safety of therapy environments
Educate patients on exercises and recovery techniques
Document patient activities and therapy sessions
Support scheduling and coordination of therapy sessions
Ensure adherence to safety and healthcare protocols
Provide encouragement and support to patients during recovery
Required Qualifications
Associate degree or certification in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field
1–3 years of experience in rehabilitation or healthcare support roles
Basic knowledge of physical therapy practices and techniques
Strong interpersonal and patient care skills
Ability to follow treatment plans and instructions accurately
Good organizational and communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in outpatient or inpatient rehabilitation settings
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
CPR/BLS certification
Knowledge of injury recovery and mobility improvement techniques
Strong teamwork and patient engagement skills
