Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable professional to support rehabilitation and physical therapy services. In this role, you will assist physical therapists with patient care activities, treatment preparation, rehabilitation exercises, and clinical support to help patients recover mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
Key Responsibilities

Assist physical therapists with patient therapy sessions and rehabilitation exercises

Prepare treatment areas, therapy equipment, and patient support tools

Monitor patient activities and report progress or concerns to licensed therapists

Support patients with mobility exercises, stretching, and therapy routines

Maintain accurate patient treatment records and session documentation

Clean and organize therapy equipment while ensuring safety standards

Assist with scheduling, patient intake, and administrative support tasks

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and patient privacy standards

Support continuity of care and rehabilitation workflow efficiency

Enhance patient experience through compassionate care and assistance

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or associate degree in healthcare support, rehabilitation, kinesiology, or related field

1–3 years of experience in physical therapy support, rehabilitation services, or patient care roles

Basic understanding of physical therapy procedures and patient mobility assistance

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Ability to work effectively in clinical and patient-centered environments

Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient care

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in outpatient rehabilitation, sports medicine, or therapy clinics

CPR/BLS certification

Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and healthcare documentation

Knowledge of HIPAA and patient safety standards

Relevant rehabilitation or healthcare support certifications
