Indian Railway Junior Engineer Job Profile
Once the candidate is selected through the RRB JE examination, they need to undergo training, and once the training gets completed, there are various responsibilities that a junior engineer has to look after. The RRB Junior Engineer will have to look after 50 to 60 km of area of railway tracks. They will have to look after the construction and maintenance of railway buildings and railway staff buildings, making sure that the water supply is regular and there is no entrance for outsiders in the railway-authorized area.
In their daily assessments, they will have to take care of renovating staff and railway office buildings, platform extension work, constructing and repairing small quarters, looking after platform sheds, and painting work.
