The SLRC (State Level Recruitment Commission of Assam) has recently conducted a recruitment drive for Grade 4 examinations. With this recruitment drive, they are aiming to fill 5023 vacancies across various states under various government departments. This examination was conducted last year on 27th October 2024 at various examination centers across the state. The SLRC grade 4 results were expected to be declared in the middle of November, but that was not officially declared by the recruitment authorities. Qualified candidates will then have to appear for the skill test and personal interview round.
SLRC Grade 4 examination overview
Thousands of candidates dreaming of becoming a part of the Assam government have appeared for these examinations. This exam has a total of 135 marks, and all of them are multiple-choice questions. Each incorrect mark has a 0.25 negative marking pattern. The total duration of this examination is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Publishing Answer Key: The first and foremost step they take is to publish answer keys so that it will help the candidates to raise their concerns.
Feedback review: The examination commission will then review feedback from candidates, assess the answer keys, and re-release it on the official website.
Final examination sheet assessment: The final answer sheet will be assessed based on the answer sheet that was published post feedback clarifications.
Merit list: Post-evaluating the answer sheet, the candidates will get ranked according to their performances in the examinations.
Final rounds: The selected candidates will then have to move to the next round of interviews, which are skill tests and personal interviews.
SLRC examination grade 4 selection cut off marks overview
Each examination has a certain cutoff mark associated with it; they are defined by the examination authorities depending on the number of candidates who appeared for the examinations, the difficulty level of the examination, and the number of vacancies available. However, the cutoff marks are not yet released for this exam, but examination authorities have decided to release cutoff marks along with the results.
