The Telangana State Eligibility Test: The main aim of this examination is to determine the eligibility of the candidates aspiring to become assistant professors and lecturers in colleges and universities across Telangana. Last year, in 2024, these examinations were conducted between 10th and 12th September, managed and executed by Osmania University, Telangana.

This examination consists of two papers conducted together in a single session which is of 3 hours
Paper I comprises of
Reasoning
Divergent questions
Each question set contains 50 obligatory questions, and each comprises 2 marks.
Paper II comprises specified subjects chosen by the candidates while appearing for the test.
This test consists of 100 questions, and each question contributes 2 marks.
Hence, the total marking of the TS test sum up to 300 marks.
Telangana State Set Result preparation
Post examination Result preparation involves Systematic steps to maintain fairness and accuracy. This step begins by providing an answer key, which will definitely be published on the official website after some time as the examination gets over. Candidates are allowed to raise their voice and objections against the discrepancies they found in the answer key.
Once the objections and feedback are reviewed by the official authorities they will then update the answer keys and release the final sheet. This final answer key serves as the base sheet for evaluating candidates “ Answer sheet”. The answers were then calculated and marked as per the final answer key.
Telangana SET minimum qualification marks
In order to stay up in the race a candidate is required to score minimum defined marks to qualify for the examinations. The passing marks have been listed below.
Unreserved Category : 40% ( 120 out of 300 marks)
Reserved Categories (OC/BC/SC/ST) and trangender: 35% (105 out of 300 marks)
