The West Bengal Public Service Commission has conducted the examinations to fill 480 posts for Grade 3 Subordinate Inspector for Food and Supply Services under the West Bengal government’s food and supply department.
The examination was conducted in multiple examination centers across the state on the 16th and 17th of March 2024. Thousands of aspiring candidates have appeared for the examinations, and now they are waiting for the government to announce the result date. WBPSC Food SI examinations paper pattern
The WBPSC Food SI examination is divided into two sections. The examination has 100 questions, and each question weighs 1 mark, and there is a deduction of 0.33 negative marking for incorrect answers. Candidates have to complete the paper in 90 minutes.
WBPSC Food Subordinatte Inspector Result preparation
As per the guidelines that the recruitment board needs to follow before publishing any result, it is first to release provisional answer keys on the official website. Candidates will be able to download answer keys from the website. After that, candidates are required to match their answers with the provisional answer key.
If the candidates foresee any discrepancy in the correct answer given in the answer key, they are required to raise their concerns and feedback to the recruitment board. Authorities will then check the authenticity of the feedback, and if required, they will make changes in the answer key sheet and republish the same on the website.

The cut-off marking pattern for WBPSC food SI examinations is dependent on various factors. Such as number of candidates who appeared for the examinations, the category of the candidates, the difficulty level of the examinations, and the number of vacancies in the food departments.
