Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Trauma ICU Support Nurse (RN) to assist in caring for critically injured patients. In this role, you will monitor patient conditions, support life-saving interventions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to trauma patients in ICU settings
Monitor vital signs and patient conditions closely
Administer medications and life-support treatments
Assist in emergency and critical care procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with physicians and ICU teams
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols
Respond rapidly to changes in patient conditions
Educate families on patient status and care plans
Maintain a safe and controlled ICU environment

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
2–5 years of experience in ICU, trauma, or critical care nursing roles
Valid RN license to practice in Texas
Strong knowledge of trauma care and ICU procedures
Excellent clinical decision-making and communication skills
Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in trauma ICU or emergency critical care units
Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, or TNCC
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong critical thinking and patient monitoring skills
Commitment to patient-centered critical care
