Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Blood Collection Support Technician to assist in blood collection and handling processes. In this role, you will support phlebotomy activities, ensure proper specimen handling, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in blood collection and specimen handling
Prepare and maintain collection equipment and supplies
Ensure proper labeling and documentation of samples
Support patient care during collection procedures
Maintain cleanliness and safety of collection areas
Collaborate with lab technicians and healthcare teams
Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards
Track and manage specimen records
Assist in transporting samples to laboratories
Support overall blood collection operations
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or related field
0–2 years of experience in phlebotomy or healthcare support roles
Basic knowledge of blood collection procedures
Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in clinical environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in blood banks or diagnostic labs
Certification in phlebotomy (preferred)
Familiarity with specimen handling protocols
Knowledge of infection control practices
Understanding of healthcare compliance standards
