Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Network Traffic Analyst to monitor and analyze network traffic patterns. In this role, you will identify anomalies, optimize performance, and support network security and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze network traffic data
Identify anomalies and potential security risks
Optimize network performance and bandwidth usage
Collaborate with network and security teams
Maintain documentation of traffic analysis processes
Support troubleshooting of network issues
Ensure compliance with IT and security standards
Track performance metrics and generate reports
Assist in capacity planning and forecasting
Improve network monitoring and analysis workflows

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
1–3 years of experience in network monitoring, traffic analysis, or IT roles
Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Familiarity with network monitoring tools
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, or NetFlow analyzers
Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure)
Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash)
Understanding of network security and traffic analysis
Relevant certifications such as CCNA or Network+
