Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Cloud Resource Monitoring Engineer to support monitoring and optimization of cloud environments. In this role, you will track resource usage, analyze alerts, and ensure system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor cloud resource performance and utilization
Analyze alerts and logs to identify potential issues
Respond to incidents and escalate when necessary
Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams
Maintain documentation of monitoring processes
Ensure compliance with cloud security standards
Support monitoring tools and configurations
Track metrics and generate performance reports
Assist in cost optimization and capacity planning
Improve monitoring workflows and automation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in cloud monitoring, DevOps, or IT operations roles
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with monitoring tools and logging systems
Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash)
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of cloud cost optimization
Exposure to DevOps best practices
