Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive IT Support Specialist to join our partner organization in Huntsville, Alabama. The ideal candidate will provide first-level technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth IT operations for end-users.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
Assist in software installation, configuration, and upgrades
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
Document incidents, solutions, and standard operating procedures
Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT teams
Maintain high levels of customer service and support
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
1–3 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles
Knowledge of Windows and macOS environments
Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft Certified
Experience with enterprise applications and endpoint management
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices
