Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Server Configuration Analyst to support server setup and configuration processes. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring servers, maintaining system performance, and ensuring reliable IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and maintain server systems and environments
Monitor server performance and ensure system stability
Troubleshoot server-related issues and resolve incidents
Assist in server installation, upgrades, and maintenance
Maintain system documentation and configuration records
Collaborate with IT teams to support infrastructure needs
Ensure compliance with IT security and operational policies
Support backup and recovery processes
Identify performance issues and recommend improvements
Assist in automation and optimization of server configurations

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
1–3 years of experience in server configuration or IT infrastructure roles
Strong understanding of server operating systems (Windows/Linux)
Basic knowledge of networking and system administration
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash)
Understanding of server security and performance tuning
Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Linux, or cloud certifications preferred)
