Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Physical Therapy Support Assistant to assist therapists in providing rehabilitation care. In this role, you will support patient therapy sessions, prepare equipment, and help ensure effective treatment delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Assist physical therapists during treatment sessions
Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas
Support patients with exercises and mobility activities
Monitor patient progress and report observations
Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions
Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas
Assist in scheduling and patient coordination
Follow healthcare safety and rehabilitation protocols
Collaborate with healthcare teams for patient care
Support overall rehabilitation operations

Required Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Physical Therapy, or related field
0–2 years of experience in rehabilitation or healthcare support roles
Basic knowledge of physical therapy practices
Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in a clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in rehabilitation centers or clinics
Familiarity with therapy equipment and techniques
Knowledge of patient mobility and exercise programs
Understanding of healthcare compliance and safety standards
Certification in physical therapy assistance (preferred)
