Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Engineer – Backend (Node.js) to build and maintain backend services and APIs. In this role, you will work on scalable systems, optimize performance, and ensure secure data processing.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js
Design and implement RESTful APIs
Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams
Optimize application performance and scalability
Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
Integrate databases and manage data workflows
Participate in code reviews and development processes
Ensure compliance with coding standards and security practices

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
1–3 years of experience in backend development or software engineering roles
Strong knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript
Basic understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL)
Familiarity with API development and system design
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with frameworks like Express.js or NestJS
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to microservices architecture
