Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Surgical Equipment Support Technician to assist in managing and maintaining surgical equipment. In this role, you will ensure equipment readiness, support surgical procedures, and maintain a safe operating environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
Ensure proper sterilization and handling of equipment
Assist surgical teams during procedures
Monitor equipment functionality and report issues
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance
Collaborate with healthcare and technical teams
Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards
Support inventory management of surgical tools
Assist in equipment setup and breakdown
Maintain cleanliness and organization of surgical areas

Required Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Technology, Healthcare, or related field
0–2 years of experience in surgical support, equipment handling, or healthcare roles
Basic knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in clinical environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in operating rooms or surgical environments
Familiarity with sterilization and infection control procedures
Knowledge of biomedical equipment maintenance
Certification in surgical technology (preferred)
Understanding of healthcare compliance standards
