Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Oncology Care Support Nurse (RN) to assist in delivering care to cancer patients. In this role, you will support treatment plans, monitor patient conditions, and provide emotional and clinical support throughout the care process.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to oncology patients
Assist in administering chemotherapy and treatments
Monitor patient conditions and report changes
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with oncologists and healthcare teams
Educate patients and families on treatment and care
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols
Provide emotional support to patients and families
Respond to treatment-related complications
Support patient recovery and ongoing care
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
2–4 years of experience in oncology or clinical nursing roles
Valid RN license to practice in Florida
Strong knowledge of oncology care and treatment protocols
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work in emotionally demanding healthcare environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in oncology or cancer care units
Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, or OCN
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong critical thinking and patient monitoring skills
