Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Release Support Engineer to join our partner organization. In this role, you will support software release cycles, coordinate deployments, and ensure smooth transitions of applications into production environments. This position is ideal for professionals interested in DevOps, release management, and IT operations.

Key Responsibilities
Support planning, scheduling, and execution of software releases
Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams for deployments
Monitor release processes and troubleshoot issues during deployment
Maintain release documentation, checklists, and schedules
Ensure compliance with release management and change control processes
Assist in automating release and deployment workflows
Validate builds and ensure readiness for production environments
Provide post-release support and incident resolution
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
1–3 years of experience in IT support, release management, or DevOps-related roles
Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and coordination abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
Exposure to monitoring and logging tools
