Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Security Operations Analyst to support security monitoring and incident response activities. In this role, you will analyze security events, detect threats, and help maintain the security posture of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor security systems and analyze alerts
Identify and respond to security incidents and threats
Maintain security logs and incident documentation
Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis
Collaborate with IT and security teams to resolve issues
Ensure compliance with security policies and standards
Support SIEM tools and security monitoring platforms
Assist in implementing security controls and improvements
Track and report security metrics
Support continuous improvement of security operations

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or IT security roles
Strong understanding of security concepts and practices
Basic knowledge of firewalls, SIEM tools, and endpoint security
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO)
Basic knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure)
Understanding of incident response processes
Relevant certifications such as Security+ or CEH
